My painting Enjoy the Day won the Second Place Award  at the Gallery 110 North 18th Annual Holiday Membership Art Exhibit.  530 E Mill Street, Plymouth.   December 6, 2013 – January 24, 2014.  Admission is always free.

Artist Bonnita Budysz was the judge for this exhibit. Budysz is a nationally awarded painter whose works are exhibited in the United States and abroad, an art instructor, and an avid artist/activist with organizations such as Waters Edge Artists who endorse Painting for Preservation.  Her paintings consistently garner prestigious awards at the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America, and the Pastel Society of the West Coast  As founder of the ecologically sensitive plein air painting group, Water’s Edge Artists, she continues to champion conservation issues.

The exhibit sponsors are Bank First National and Paul and Kathy Sartori.

The Plymouth Arts Center, the premier arts destination for residents of Western Sheboygan,  showcases the original work of Wisconsin artists.  A wide range of media is displayed with exhibition changes six times each year, including an annual juried exhibition, “Alive in the Arts”.  Plymouth Arts Center Gift Shop features fine art gifts made by members

The Arts Center is well-known for its signature annual fundraising event, the Cheese Capital Jazz Crawl for the Arts, and other favorites such as, Plymouth Festival of Fine Arts, Plymouth Oktoberfest, variety of theatrical productions and musicals by the PAC Theatre Company, Shamrocks & Shenanigans-Irish Music Show, Spring Concert  by the PAC Singers, Mill Street Live, Paint the Town, en Plein Air, a Wisconsin Performing Artists series, monthly acoustic open mic sessions, art classes, workshops, bus trips, New Year’s Eve Party with the “Big Cheese” drop, and so much more.

The Plymouth Arts Center is entering is 21st membership year in 2014 and you are invited to join us.  If you like the arts and enjoy experiencing the arts as a delighted observer, or actively as a participant and volunteer, please consider a membership today. A variety of membership levels (starting at $10) are available such as: student; family; individual; senior; business; etc. and your membership contribution may be tax deductible as the PAC is a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
