You are invited to come see my new exhibition of 40 paintings at The Pyle Center, UW-Extension Conference Center, 702 Langdon Street, Madison.  The exhibit will be up from November 2 – December 23, 2016.

My mentor James Michael always told me to “Keep It Simple” by creating a well designed values sketch and using limited brush strokes with plenty of paint.

The Pyle Center is open Mondays – Fridays  7:45 am – 4:30 pm. Evenings and weekends when scheduled events. Closed holidays.

Rock Carvings was painted below campsite 15, my wife’s favorite campsite, at Rock Island State Park….a scenic primitive island located at the northern tip of Door County, Wisconsin.  One must take two ferries to reach Rock Island.

Pigeon River was painted along the Pigeon River near my home in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

These two paintings will be on exhibit at the Wisconsin Watercolor Society Fall Membership Exhibition at Miller Art Museum, 107  s. 4th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, WI from Saturday, September 17 through Tuesday, November 1.  Opening Reception Saturday, September 17 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.  Gallery Hours:  Mondays 10 am – 8 pm; Tuesdays – Saturdays 10 am – 5 pm; closed holidays and Sundays.
