I just got back from the 20th Anniversary Plein Air Event in Cedarburg. I spent Saturday, June 5 – Thursday, June 10.. five days painting in Ozaukee County for Paint Cedarburg, completing ten paintings in the scorching heat. The best three paintings were submitted for judging, but I didn’t receive an award. Competition was very stiff because there were over 150 artists participating. Juried by Paul Berquist, Lori Beringer, and Antwan Ramar.
I am happy that two of my paintings were sold. The remaining painting and two other paintings from the event are currently on display at the Cedarburg Cultural Center until Saturday, July 10, 2021. Good days to visit the Cedarburg Cultural Center are Saturdays, July 3 and July 10 when there will be free live music and a cash bar on the terrace outside.
