The Art of Friends and Family

Join my wife Jane and I in celebrating the Art of Friends and Family at EBCO Artworks, 1201 Erie Avenue, Sheboygan. The exhibit will be up until February 10, 2019.

My painting Wave Rider was from a photograph I took this January when Lake Michigan waves were high and rough. Surfers from as far as Chicago were surfing this day, but I noticed this kayaker having fun in the frigid surf near the Sheboygan’s North Pier.

Jane’s photograph Lily Pads was taken at Kettle Moraine Lake while we were kayaking. The lily pads reminded her of the lily pads in Monet’s garden ponds in Giverny, France.

The Opening Reception is on Friday, January 25 from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Admission is free. Live entertainment. Aaron Schwoerer will play classic hits from Beatles to Led Zeppelin. Complimentary refreshments. Cash bar.

Gallery hours Saturday and Sunday 11 am – 3 pm.
